Electrical Circuits

Today we did some investigating with circuits.  We tried to light up a bulb using a battery, a bulb and some wire.  Then we used the BrainBox kits and had a lot of fun learning about circuits.

Today we got to investigate some torches.  We worked with a buddy to opened them up and pulled them apart.  Then we had to see if we could work out HOW they work...

Mufti Day for Fiji

Last Friday we had a mufti day at Pinehill.  We had to bring along a gold coin donation.  We put our coins onto a map of Fiji.  We will be sending the money we collected to Fiji to help some schools that were destroyed during cyclone Winston.

In Room 11 we are learning about time.  We have been looking at what you can do in just one minute...

Cross Country

Today was a beautiful day for Cross Country.  Everyone did such an amazing job! We are especially proud of Theo and Juliette who both came 1st in their races.  Well done Room 11!
